About the trip
Kanyakumari is the southern tip of India, where three seas meet and sunrise and sunset can both be watched over the water. Visitors take the ferry to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, see the tall Thiruvalluvar statue and pray at the Kumari Amman Temple. The drive from Trivandrum crosses into Tamil Nadu and passes the wooden Padmanabhapuram Palace near Thuckalay.
