About the trip
Delhi, the national capital, is where most Rajasthan trips begin or end, thanks to its airport and rail links. Travellers drive back from Jaipur to catch flights, meet family or spend a few days seeing Mughal monuments and markets. The route follows NH 48 through Shahpura, Behror and Gurgaon. The new Delhi–Mumbai expressway via Dausa is an option to avoid highway towns.
What to see in Delhi
- Red Fort and Chandni Chowk
- Qutub Minar
- Humayun's Tomb
- India Gate
- Lotus Temple
- Akshardham Temple
