About the trip

Rameshwaram is an island town in the Gulf of Mannar and one of the holiest places for Hindus, with the Ramanathaswamy Temple and its famous long corridors. Pilgrims bathe at Agni Theertham and in the temple's 22 wells, and many go on to Dhanushkodi at the island's tip. The road from Trichy runs through Pudukkottai and Ramanathapuram before crossing the sea on the Pamban road bridge.
