About the trip
Kodaikanal is the best-known hill station in the Palani hills, around 2,100 metres up, with a large lake, pine forests and viewpoints over the plains. Families from Trichy come for the cool weather, boating and cycling, usually staying two nights or more. The route goes through Manapparai and Dindigul, then climbs the ghat past Silver Cascade Falls.
