About the trip
Manapparai is a small town on the Trichy–Madurai highway, known across Tamil Nadu for its crisp murukku and its large cattle market. Most of our trips here are for family functions, business or a quick food run, but it also makes an easy half-day out combined with the Viralimalai hill temple and the Ponnar–Sankar temple at Veerappur.
