About the trip
Coorg, or Kodagu, is a green hill district of coffee and pepper estates, with Madikeri as its main town. Visitors from Mysore go for the cool weather, waterfalls, elephant camps and homestay food. The road passes Hunsur and the Tibetan settlement at Bylakuppe, where many stop at the Golden Temple, before winding up through estates to Madikeri.
