About the trip
Trivandrum, or Thiruvananthapuram, is the capital of Kerala, with the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Travancore-era museums and the beaches of Kovalam and Varkala close by. The road runs south on NH 44 to Nagercoil and then across the border along the coast through Marthandam.
