About the trip
Karaikudi is the heart of the Chettinad region, known for grand merchant mansions, handmade Athangudi tiles, antique markets and fiery Chettinad food. Visitors come to walk through the old palaces, visit the Pillayarpatti Karpaga Vinayagar temple and shop for cotton sarees.
