About the trip
Coonoor is a quieter hill town just below Ooty, surrounded by tea estates and known for its viewpoints and gardens. Visitors come for a calmer day than Ooty, fresh tea and the views over the Nilgiris slopes. The short drive winds down through Lovedale and Ketti valley, and the toy train also runs alongside part of the way.
