About the trip
Velankanni is a seaside town known for the Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health, one of the most visited Christian shrines in Asia. Pilgrims of every faith come here, especially for the September feast. The coastal drive from Pondicherry passes Cuddalore, Chidambaram and Karaikal, so it is easy to add Nagore Dargah or a temple stop.
