About the trip
Cochin, or Kochi, is Kerala's main port city, where centuries of Arab, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch and British trade have left churches, synagogues and warehouses side by side. Travellers go for Fort Kochi's old lanes, Kathakali shows and seafood, or to catch flights and cruise ships. From Kovalam the road runs north along the coast through Kollam and Alleppey on NH 66.
