Day by day

Day 1

Board at Dubai

Check in at Dubai’s cruise terminal. The ship usually stays overnight, so there’s time for the Burj Khalifa or Dubai Mall fountains before sailing.

Day 2

Abu Dhabi

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Corniche — a short sail from Dubai, so a full day ashore.

Day 3

Sir Bani Yas Island

A private island stop — wildlife drive among Arabian oryx and gazelle, or a beach day on the ship’s own stretch of sand.

Day 4

Day at sea

Cross the Gulf. Pool deck, spa, cookery demonstrations and an evening show.

Day 5

Doha

Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art and the Corniche skyline. Back on board for dinner.

Day 6

Bahrain

Manama’s Bab al-Bahrain souq, the Qal’at al-Bahrain fort and the National Museum.

Day 7

Return to Dubai

A morning at sea, then breakfast and disembarkation. We can extend your stay in Dubai on either side.

How we arrange it

  1. Tell us the basics — your dates, how many are travelling and the cabin you have in mind.
  2. We check live sailings and fares for your dates and send you the best options.
  3. We build the trip around the sailing — flights to the port, visas, airport and pier transfers, and hotel nights before or after.
  4. You confirm and we book, then hand you one clear itinerary with a single point of contact.

Why book the Dubai & the Gulf with Bakkiya Tours

We’re a local, family-run travel company that has arranged journeys since 2010, and we treat a trip like this as one seamless plan rather than a single ticket. You get one point of contact who answers the phone, transparent quotes with no surprises, and someone on your side from the first enquiry to the journey home. Cruise fares move with the season and the cabin grade, and the flights and visas around them need care — that’s exactly the part we take off your hands.

Good to know before you sail

For overseas sailings, carry a passport valid at least six months beyond your travel dates — we handle the visa paperwork wherever it's needed, and tell you early what each country on the route requires. Cruise fares move with the season and the cabin grade, so the earlier you talk to us, the better the choice and price. A cruise fare usually covers your cabin, main meals and onboard entertainment; shore excursions, specialty dining, drinks and gratuities are normally extra, and we'll set out clearly what your chosen sailing includes. If you're prone to seasickness, a mid-ship cabin on a lower deck rides most smoothly — just ask and we'll pick accordingly.

Areas we serve

Bakkiya Tours is based in Virudhachalam, in Cuddalore district, and we arrange pickups right across the region — Cuddalore town, Chidambaram, Neyveli, Panruti, Ulundurpet, Tittakudi, Kattumannarkoil, Vadalur and the surrounding villages. From here we run trips throughout Tamil Nadu and into neighbouring Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, as well as pilgrimages and holidays further afield in India. Being a local company means we can collect you from your doorstep, start early without a long dead-run, and be genuinely on hand throughout your journey. Tell us where you're starting from and we'll arrange a convenient pickup.
