About the trip

Shirdi is the town where Sai Baba lived and is buried, and the Samadhi Mandir draws devotees of all faiths every day. Pilgrims come for darshan, the aartis and to see Dwarkamai and Chavadi. Many also visit the Shani temple at Shingnapur, about 70 km away. From Mumbai the new Samruddhi expressway has cut driving time, though some still prefer the old Nashik road.
