About the trip
Trichy, or Tiruchirappalli, is a temple city on the Kaveri in central Tamil Nadu. It is known for the Rockfort Ucchi Pillaiyar temple on a huge rock, and for Srirangam, one of the largest working temple complexes in the world. The drive from Bangalore goes down NH 44 to Salem, then via Namakkal and Musiri along the Kaveri.
